Moorman Space Education & Training Center
NSSI resides on Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, in the Moorman Space Education and Training Center (SETC), a learning facility named in honor of USAF General (Ret.) Thomas S. Moorman, Jr., with additional facilities and locations globally.

Leader Development
From Space 100 fundamentals to AEGIS and command-team preparation, the College of Leader Development builds space leaders at every level — from first assignment to Delta command.
Space 100
Fundamental knowledge of significant past and current space milestones, basic science, and Joint Pub 3-14 space operations capabilities.
Space 200
Apply principles of operational art and design to deliver combat effects to Joint Forces and analyze the contested space environment.
Space 300
Synthesize the critical interplay between national/international space policy, strategy, and capability development for USSF and Joint forces.
Space Executive Course
Two-day course for senior leaders with limited space experience. Fundamental space domain, legal/policy, and mission area knowledge.
Maritime Space Operations Integration Course
Produces Navy Maritime Space Officers capable of integrating Joint and national space capabilities into maritime operations.
Space Warfighter Prep Course
Prepares space professionals to effectively augment theater Air Operations Centers during exercises and real-world operations.
Squadron Leaders Course
Mandatory five-day course preparing future Squadron Command Teams. Optional concurrent five-day Spouses course.
AEGIS
Mandatory nine-day course for current/future Commanders, Senior Materiel Leaders, and Senior Enlisted Leaders in Delta Command Teams.
Commander of Space Forces Course
Prepares COMSPACEFORs and senior staff to accomplish the Service Component, Operational Commander, and Theater Space Integrator roles.
Space Planning Team Course
Produces Space Planning Team graduates aligned to specific geographic regions, enhancing organic USSF Service component capacity.
Regional Space Advisor Academics Course
Develops a cadre of internationally minded Guardians prepared to enhance USSF capabilities and strengthen partner relationships.
Combat Leader Development Course
Prepares Combat Squadron and Detachment command teams to lead and maintain combat-ready space forces within Combat Forces Command.
Space Warfare
Joint planners, targeteers, and coalition partners develop the skills to assess, plan, and defend the space domain — from orbital warfare fundamentals to space targeting and operational design.
Introduction to Joint Space
Produces graduates with an understanding of the principles of operating in space and how space capabilities support Joint operations.

Space-SOF-Cyber Innovation Course
Examines the synthesis of Space, Special Operations, and Cyber in complex, emergent warfare contexts under hybrid and irregular war.
Mission Type Orders Course
Prepares USSF personnel to employ the Space Planning Process per Space Doctrine Pub 5-0 to produce clear commander's intent.
Prehospital Human Spaceflight Medical Support
Educates rescue personnel on medical care for astronauts coming from the microgravity environment, providing a baseline for Human Spaceflight Support.
